Mary’s House in Grochowa
About Grochowa
Grochowa is a small village located approximately 30 km from Warsaw, nestled within the serene forests of the Chojnów Landscape Park. The land where we plan to build Mary’s House was generously donated by Fr. Tadeusz Karolak, the first moderator of the Totus Tuus Church Order Service in the Archdiocese of Warsaw. Fr. Karolak was a longtime missionary in Belarus and organized summer retreats in Grochowa for children and youth from Eastern Europe. After retiring, he entrusted this property to our Institute with the hope that it would continue to serve the Church.
What Will Mary’s House Be?
Mary’s House will be a retreat and formation center, complete with a chapel and single or double occupancy rooms for approximately 30 guests. Here, we aim to prepare ourselves for service to those who are wounded and lost in today’s world. Our mission is to host retreats, meetings, and prayer gatherings, and to create initiatives that help those in need discover the loving face of God and experience the tender care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Humble Servant of the Lord.
